A name that's a bit tricky to understand as he no longer has a red bike having purchased a silver R1150GS Adventure. More recently there's been a blue R1200GS & of late (07) a Silver GS 1200. (Maybe that red tank cover might still be to go.

Red Rob (a.k.a Rob Lewis) has been riding since he was 16 whilst in the R.A.N (1970) and did a stint as a Police Motorcyclist in the NSW Police Force in the early 80's.

Ridden much of Oz & a few other interesting locations such as PNG.

Having grown up (as if) in Tasmania where everyone knows that the roads are just made for bikes, Rob tries a bi - annual trip there in late January early February. If interested get in touch.

Co-founder of The Wild Geese with Cam Young,(Spruce Goose) (See Early Days) has an excellent knowledge of the many great roads in & about the Sunshine Coast and SE Queensland area as his former day job as the RSPCA Inspector had him travelling throughout the region from Caboolture to Kingaroy to Bundaberg. (there are some great back roads not normally on the regular runs).

How do these things work?
It's been so long...		This is the gear lever...This is the nut
behind the handlebars!

In January 2006 Rob became the proud owner of a new (blue) R1200GS. Steve, Mick, Josef and Jamie were present at Coastline for the handover then in April after being hit by a 4WD, he became the proud owner of another new (silver grey) R1200GS. Hope he keeps this one!! Latest addition is an x-Vic Pol R1150RT which is used for the Moreton Bay Regional Council AH Compliance Patrol.(and scaring the crap out of cagers)

Rob's beloved grey GS collected in 2006 has been adopted by Mark & his current bike is an R1200GS (RL Special) - and it's back to a red bike, so Red Rob rides again!
